Rats! Rats everywhere, over 40,000 at the last estimate and they are revered, worshipped and loved by a small Hindu sect. If you are squeamish by the sight of rats, this is not where you want to visit. In our books though an absolute must-see.
The devout believe drinking from the same waters as the rats will protect them from sickness and give them longevity. There is a long story behind this belief that dates back to the 14th century.
